Styrax ellipticus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Styracaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Sumatra. Nama ilmiah Styrax ellipticus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Franz Wilhelm Junghuhn pada tahun 1845.
