Swertia volkensii var. baleensis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Gentianaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma pegunungan tropis di wilayah Ethiopia selatan-tengah. Nama ilmiah Swertia volkensii var. baleensis pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 1998.
