Symphyotrichum ascendens (Lindl.) G.L.Nesom

Symphyotrichum ascendens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada bagian barat dan tengah hingga Amerika Serikat bagian barat-tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan western aster. Nama ilmiah Symphyotrichum ascendens diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama John Lindley pada tahun 1995.
