Symphyotrichum bimater merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko (Chiapas) hingga Guatemala. Nama ilmiah Symphyotrichum bimater pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Paul Carpenter Standley pada tahun 2018.
