SHORT-RAYED ALKALI A Symphyotrichumfrondosum (Nutt.) G.L.Nesom
Symphyotrichum frondosum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada barat hingga Meksiko (Baja California Norte). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan short-rayed alkali aster. Nama ilmiah Symphyotrichum frondosum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Thomas Nuttall pada tahun 1995.
