Symphyotrichum leonis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Kuba. Nama ilmiah Symphyotrichum leonis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nathaniel Lord Britton pada tahun 1995.
