NEW ENGLAND ASTER Symphyotrichumnovae-angliae (L.) G.L.Nesom
Symphyotrichum novae-angliae merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada bagian tengah dan timur hingga Amerika Serikat. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan new england aster. Nama ilmiah Symphyotrichum novae-angliae pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Guy L. Nesom pada tahun 1995.
