Symphyotrichum novi-belgii var. crenifolium merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Kanada bagian timur. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan newfoundland aster. Nama ilmiah Symphyotrichum novi-belgii var. crenifolium pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Merritt Lyndon Fernald pada tahun 1997.
