Symphyotrichum pratense adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Amerika Serikat bagian tenggara hingga Texas. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan barrens silky aster. Nama ilmiah Symphyotrichum pratense diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Constantine Samuel Rafinesque pada tahun 1995.
