Symphyotrichum retroflexum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Amerika Serikat bagian tenggara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan rigid whitetop aster. Nama ilmiah Symphyotrichum retroflexum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama John Lindley pada tahun 1995.
