Symphyotrichum shortii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Kanada tenggara hingga Amerika Serikat. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan short's aster. Nama ilmiah Symphyotrichum shortii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama John Lindley pada tahun 1995.
