Symphyotrichum subulatum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada bagian timur, Meksiko timur laut, hingga Karibia. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan eastern annual saltmarsh aster. Nama ilmiah Symphyotrichum subulatum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis André Michaux pada tahun 1995.
