Symplocos arechea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Symplocaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Amerika Selatan bagian barat. Nama ilmiah Symplocos arechea diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Charles Louis L'Héritier de Brutelle pada tahun 1791.
