Symplocos citrea merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Symplocaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Meksiko. Nama ilmiah Symplocos citrea diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Juan José Martinez de Lexarza pada tahun 1824.
