Symplocos elegans merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Symplocaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Sri Lanka tengah. Nama ilmiah Symplocos elegans diperkenalkan oleh George Henry Kendrick Thwaites pada tahun 1860.
