Symplocos excelsa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Symplocaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Meksiko selatan. Nama ilmiah Symplocos excelsa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Louis Otho Williams pada tahun 1970.
