Symplocos leonis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Symplocaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kuba tenggara. Nama ilmiah Symplocos leonis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nathaniel Lord Britton pada tahun 1923.
