Symplocos mezii merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Symplocaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Peru. Nama ilmiah Symplocos mezii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Ignaz von Szyszyłowicz pada tahun 1894.
