Symplocos myrtacea merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Symplocaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Jepang selatan dan selatan-tengah. Nama ilmiah Symplocos myrtacea diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Philipp Franz von Siebold pada tahun 1846.
