Symplocos nitens var. bahiensis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Symplocaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil timur laut. Nama ilmiah Symplocos nitens var. bahiensis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Alphonse Louis Pierre Pyrame de Candolle pada tahun 1901.
