Symplocos nivalis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Symplocaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kolombia timur laut. Nama ilmiah Symplocos nivalis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Jean Jules Linden pada tahun 1901.
