Symplocos octopetala merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Symplocaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Jamaika tengah dan timur. Nama ilmiah Symplocos octopetala pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Olof Peter Swartz pada tahun 1788.
