Symplocos olivacea merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Symplocaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Vietnam Utara. Nama ilmiah Symplocos olivacea diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Elmer Drew Merrill pada tahun 1926.
