Symplocos ovalis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Symplocaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Kuba barat. Nama ilmiah Symplocos ovalis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Charles Wright pada tahun 1866.
