Symplocos oxyphylla merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Symplocaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Assam, Myanmar, hingga Kepulauan Andaman. Nama ilmiah Symplocos oxyphylla diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Nathaniel Wallich pada tahun 1831.
