Symplocos retusa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Symplocaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kosta Rika hingga Panama barat. Nama ilmiah Symplocos retusa mulai dipublikasikan pada tahun 2004.
