Symplocos setchuensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Symplocaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari China selatan hingga Taiwan. Nama ilmiah Symplocos setchuensis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama August Brand pada tahun 1900.
