Symplocos sousae adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Symplocaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko (Jalisco hingga Oaxaca barat). Nama ilmiah Symplocos sousae diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Frank Almeda pada tahun 1982.
