Symplocos stellaris merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Symplocaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari China selatan, Nansei-shoto (Okinawa-jima), hingga Taiwan. Nama ilmiah Symplocos stellaris diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama August Brand pada tahun 1900.
