Symplocos tamana adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Symplocaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Venezuela barat laut. Nama ilmiah Symplocos tamana diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Julian Alfred Steyermark pada tahun 1953.
