Syngonanthus oblongus var. aequinoctialis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Eriocaulaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kolombia tenggara hingga Brazil. Nama ilmiah Syngonanthus oblongus var. aequinoctialis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Wilhelm Otto Eugen Ruhland pada tahun 1903.
