Taccarum caudatum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Araceae (suku talas-talasan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil (Acre) hingga Bolivia. Nama ilmiah Taccarum caudatum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Henry Hurd Rusby pada tahun 1927.
