Tamarix palaestina merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Tamaricaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Mediterania timur (Rift Valley). Nama ilmiah Tamarix palaestina pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Antonio Bertoloni pada tahun 1853.
