Tamonea spicata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Verbenaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko barat-tengah dan tenggara hingga Brazil timur laut. Nama ilmiah Tamonea spicata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Jean Baptiste Christophore Fusée Aublet pada tahun 1775.
