Tapeinosperma clethroides merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Primulaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kaledonia Baru. Nama ilmiah Tapeinosperma clethroides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Christian Mez pada tahun 1902.
