Tapeinosperma nitidum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Primulaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kaledonia Baru. Nama ilmiah Tapeinosperma nitidum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Christian Mez pada tahun 1905.
