Tapiscia sinensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Tapisciaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari China selatan hingga Indo-China. Nama ilmiah Tapiscia sinensis diperkenalkan oleh Daniel Oliver pada tahun 1890.
