Tapura tessmannii merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Dichapetalaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Peru (Loreto), Brazil (Mato Grosso). Nama ilmiah Tapura tessmannii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Kurt Krause pada tahun 1972.
