Taralea speciosa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil (Pará). Nama ilmiah Taralea speciosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Adolpho Ducke pada tahun 2020.
