Taraxacum arcticum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Greenland, Eropa utara hingga Rusia Timur Jauh bagian utara. Nama ilmiah Taraxacum arcticum diperkenalkan oleh Ernst Rudolf von Trautvetter pada tahun 1905.
