Tarenna sambucina adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Sulawesi hingga Pasifik. Nama ilmiah Tarenna sambucina pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Forster pada tahun 1890.
