Tashiroea okinawensis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Melastomataceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Nansei-shoto (Okinawa-jima). Nama ilmiah Tashiroea okinawensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Jinzō Matsumura pada tahun 1899.
