Tasmannia insipida merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Winteraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Papua, Australia Timur. Nama ilmiah Tasmannia insipida diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Robert Brown pada tahun 1817.
