Tecophilaea cyanocrocus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Tecophilaeaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Chili (Santiago). Nama ilmiah Tecophilaea cyanocrocus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich Leybold pada tahun 1862.
