Tectaria rivalis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Polypodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika tengah hingga Ekuador timur. Nama ilmiah Tectaria rivalis diperkenalkan oleh Georg Heinrich Mettenius pada tahun 1934.
