Telanthophora standleyi merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko barat daya. Nama ilmiah Telanthophora standleyi pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Jesse More Greenman pada tahun 1974.
