Tephroseris subdentata merupakan tumbuhan dwimusim atau menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Siberia selatan dan timur hingga Rusia Timur Jauh dan China utara. Nama ilmiah Tephroseris subdentata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alexander Andrejewitsch von Bunge pada tahun 1973.
