Tephrosia filipes merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Australia utara. Nama ilmiah Tephrosia filipes diperkenalkan oleh George Bentham pada tahun 1864.
