Tephrosia nicaraguensis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Amerika tengah. Nama ilmiah Tephrosia nicaraguensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Anders Sandøe Ørsted pada tahun 1853.
