Tephrosia sousae merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko (Nayarit). Nama ilmiah Tephrosia sousae pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 1995.
